Thank you to everyone who visited Energy Saving Homes at Oxford Open Doors!

Home owners across Oxford welcomed hundreds of people into their homes, to showcase a huge range of energy saving solutions and share their experiences. Visitors were enthusiastic, curious and determined to take action and get things done – whether small measures such as draught-proofing and radiator reflectors, or more ambitious whole-house projects. One visitor commented she “learnt more about solar PV in two hours than in years”.

A huge thank you to all the Energy Saving Homes owners who so generously opened their doors, to our dedicated volunteers, to Low Carbon Hub who have supported Energy Saving Homes, to Oxford Preservation Trust and the Low Carbon community action groups in who partner with us and helped make Energy Saving Homes such a success. We plan to continue to work with residents to grow and spread the initiative across Oxford.
