Worried about climate change? Come to one of our warm and friendly climate cafes
Climate Cafés provide a supportive space in which to talk about how the climate crisis is affecting us – without pressure to act.
To find out upcoming dates, venue and other details, visit the Oxfordshire Climate Cafes web page. Everyone is welcome (16+), and there’s no charge.
What are climate cafes?
Climate Cafes are a chance to share our feelings about the climate crisis and related topics, and build resilience together:
🌞 A break from climate action or worries
☕️No talks, no advice
❤️ A thinking and feeling space with trained facilitators
#️⃣ Come to one café or many
😎 No need to book – just arrive at the start time (but if you’d like to let us know you’re coming, drop us an email)
Climate Cafés in Oxford originated with Low Carbon Oxford North and they are now run and hosted across the UK and elsewhere, with facilitator training provided by the Climate Psychology Alliance. Oxfordshire Climate Cafés now runs cafés in Oxford and surrounding towns with local climate community groups such as LCON.
