We are thrilled to have won the Climate Community Group award at the 2025 Oxford Climate Awards! The award recognises Low Carbon Oxford North (LCON)’s work supporting carbon reduction in the home: we combine expert information and guidance with opportunities to visit real life low carbon homes and talk to home owners, as well as peer support. Last week’s Energy Saving Homes (part of Oxford Open Doors) and our Housewarming Programme have helped lots of home owners navigate the huge amount of information out there and find options that work for them.

Thank you to all our supporters, partners, our trustees and volunteers who have funded, developed and grown these initiatives. Thank you also to Low Carbon Hub for their support, and to the many community groups and organisations in Oxford and Oxfordshire who do such fantastic work in supporting home carbon reduction. This award reminds us that we are part of a wider community of people who, together, can make a difference.
